It is strongly encouraged that you continue your training and ensure that you know the law as it relates to carrying a concealed handgun. While Michigan does not require that you take an actual class, the law does require that you certify that you have in fact reviewed the law and have shot on a range. This renewal training course demonstrates that you have in fact done that. Remember that falsifyimg an application is technically a crime in that it could be considered perjury to certify, that you have completed the required training (on your own) when and if in fact you have not done so.
