FN America 309 MRD Features

The FN America 309 MRD features an internal hammer-operated SAO system with an approximately 5 pound trigger and multiple redundant safeties for confident daily use. The slide is engineered to be easy to rack with 25 percent less slide resistance compared to the FN 509 Tactical pistol, supporting faster manipulation and improved user accessibility. Its direct-mount optics-ready slide is compatible with DeltaPoint Pro and Shield RMS footprints for streamlined red dot integration.

The FN 309 MRD uses a new grip texture designed to balance comfort with control while maintaining a compact footprint for practical carry. Drift-adjustable polymer sights include an over-molded green fiber-optic front with a rounded white accent U-notch rear, and the dovetail is shared with the FN 509 for broad aftermarket upgrade options. The frame includes an accessory rail compatible with popular weapon-mounted lights such as the Streamlight TLR-7, and it also features a reversible magazine release for improved ambidextrous handling.
